The People

Qualified as a Solicitor in 1986 and practised in the London Company Commercial Department of Charles Russell until 1992 when she joined the Longford Group full-time.

Jane and her brother Dominic built up an office portfolio in London and the South East including a Business Centres portfolio. They were voted joint semi-finalists in 2001 of Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in recognition of the growth the Longford Group had achieved.  Jane was Chairperson of the Business Centre Association in the UK between 2001 and 2003 and Chairperson of Forsyth Business Centres until 2008.

In 2006 she set up Longford Investment and created the basis of the current portfolio. She continues to manage acquisitions, sales and lettings by building long term relationships with agents.

Mike was a Supply and Trading Manager for Mobil where he then went on to become the Commercial Director for Beacon Gas.  Mike was the joint founder of BuyEnergyOnline. In 2010 he joined the Longford Group as the Financial Co-ordinator.

Chris was a director of WSP Group and Managing director of WSP Poland until 2002 when he joined an associate company of Longford Investment. At WSP Group he was responsible for managing the design, construction and refurbishment of commercial and hospital buildings in  the UK, Poland and Middle East.

Chris joined Jane at the Longford Group in 2002 and was responsible for construction, refurbishment and management of various prestigious offices in the West End of London, a medical centre in South Wales, a 70 bed hotel and high quality residential apartments.

As well as being the main tenant contact for Longford Investment he manages the ongoing improvement of the portfolio and annual maintenance program.
